Blue Moonstone is a luminous feldspar mineral that displays a beautiful blue sheen (adularescence) across its surface. This ethereal glow, reminiscent of moonlight on water, makes it one of the most enchanting crystals in existence.

In Hindu mythology, moonstone was formed from solidified moonbeams. Ancient Romans believed it was born from moonlight. In India, it is considered a sacred stone and a traditional wedding gift. It was a favorite of the Art Nouveau movement, featured extensively by jeweler René Lalique.
